Where It All Began
RDL began with a simple but enduring observation. In 2006, our founder saw a persistent gap in how leaders were being developed — not a lack of intelligence or ambition, but a disconnect between theory and the realities leaders were facing every day. Too often, leadership development focused on concepts rather than confidence, compliance rather than clarity, and knowledge rather than behaviour. RDL was created to address that gap. From the outset, the focus was on moving beyond classroom learning to enable meaningful, sustainable change — supporting leaders to think clearly, act decisively, and lead in ways that genuinely shaped people and organisations. What began as a local endeavour has grown into a global partnership, working alongside leaders and organisations across industries and continents. While contexts have evolved, the intent has remained the same: to build leadership capability that holds, adapts, and endures.
